ZATCA WooCommerce plugin frequently asked questions
These answers explain how Raseedo works with WooCommerce and ZATCA Phase 2. They cover the free plugin, Pro features, certificate onboarding and what happens to your invoice records. They also explain which functions are available for B2B orders and how to review documents that need attention.
Before you buy
Does Raseedo support ZATCA Phase 2?
Yes. Raseedo generates UBL 2.1 XML invoices, signs them using the store's certificate and sends them to ZATCA through the Fatoora API. The free plugin handles simplified B2C invoices, including reporting within 24 hours. Pro adds standard B2B invoices that require ZATCA clearance before the buyer receives them. Both use the certificate obtained during onboarding.
Is Raseedo approved by ZATCA?
No. ZATCA does not certify e-invoicing software for taxpayers. Its Solution Providers Directory is indicative, and software does not need to appear there to meet ZATCA's requirements. Raseedo implements Phase 2 invoicing functions but is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by ZATCA. Your business is responsible for meeting the requirements that apply to it.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free costs $0 and covers onboarding, signed simplified invoices, QR codes, reporting and refund credit notes. Pro adds B2B standard invoices, buyer VAT details at checkout, missing-invoice reports, bulk retries and CSV or XML ZIP exports. Pro costs $29 per month or $249 per year for one store. The Agency plan costs $99 per month for five client stores.
Do I need a developer to set up Raseedo?
Not necessarily. Raseedo provides an onboarding screen where you enter your seller details and paste the six-digit OTP from the Fatoora portal. The plugin creates the key and certificate request, completes the compliance checks and obtains the production certificate. You still need access to your store settings and the required seller information. Read the setup guide before starting.
Which WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions are required?
Raseedo requires WordPress 6.5 or later, PHP 8.1 or later, and an active WooCommerce installation. These are the published requirements for version 1.0.1 of the free plugin. Raseedo Pro also requires the free plugin. Check your site's versions before installation. The plugin is released under GPLv2 or later.
Can I get a refund if I purchase Pro?
Yes. The first payment for a Pro or Agency plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee, without questions. Renewals are not refunded after 14 days. You can cancel at any time, and your licence remains active until the end of the paid period. Freemius processes purchases, issues receipts and manages licences. Pro checkout is not yet live, so current enquiries go to sales@raseedo.com.
Setup and running
Does Raseedo work with WooCommerce block checkout?
Yes. Raseedo Pro supports both WooCommerce block checkout and classic checkout for collecting B2B buyer details. Buyers can enter their company VAT number, legal name, building number and district. Orders with a valid buyer VAT number receive standard invoices through the Pro integration. The free plugin handles simplified invoices for paid orders without requiring those Pro checkout fields.
What happens to orders placed before I connected Raseedo?
Raseedo Pro includes a missing e-invoice report for paid orders without an invoice and refunds without a credit note. This can include orders placed before onboarding. You can review the missing documents and issue them in batches. The free plugin creates simplified invoices for paid orders during operation but does not include the Pro missing-invoice report.
What happens if ZATCA is down or my connection fails?
Raseedo retries temporary network failures and ZATCA outages in the background for hours, within the 24-hour reporting window for simplified invoices. Reporting uses WooCommerce's Action Scheduler. The retry process does not remove ZATCA's reporting deadline. You should review documents that remain pending. The plugin also uses Site Health warnings when documents have waited too long.
What happens if ZATCA rejects an invoice?
Raseedo shows the rejection reasons returned by ZATCA in WooCommerce's E-invoices tab. It also adds an order note. You can review the response to understand why the document was rejected. Pro provides a bulk retry function for e-invoices that could not be sent. A rejected document needs attention rather than being treated as successfully reported or cleared.
Does Raseedo support Arabic?
Yes. The WooCommerce administration screens appear in Arabic when the site language or the user's language is Arabic. Customers receive a bilingual Arabic and English invoice page containing the QR code. That page is linked from their order details and order emails. The Seller details screen also accepts the legal business name, with Arabic recommended.
Data and security
Where are my invoices and ZATCA data stored?
Signed XML invoices and ZATCA responses are stored on your own WordPress site. Raseedo also stores the certificate and cryptographic keys there, encrypted using the site's AUTH_KEY and SECURE_AUTH_KEY. If those keys change, you must complete onboarding again with a new OTP. Previously issued invoices are not affected by that change.
Can the Raseedo developer see my orders?
Raseedo does not send your order records to its developer. The plugin connects to ZATCA's Fatoora API, and the signed XML documents and responses remain on your store's own WordPress installation. Nothing is sent to ZATCA until you complete onboarding and turn on "Issue e-invoices". Support is provided by email at info@raseedo.com.
What happens to my invoices if I uninstall Raseedo?
Your signed XML documents and ZATCA responses remain stored on your WordPress site after uninstalling the plugin. Raseedo keeps those records unless you explicitly choose to delete everything. If your Pro licence becomes inactive, Pro functions pause, but the free plugin continues issuing simplified invoices. These are separate events, and neither automatically deletes your existing invoice records.
