Set up Raseedo for WooCommerce
Follow these steps to test Raseedo in ZATCA's sandbox, then connect your WooCommerce store to Fatoora for live invoicing.
Check requirements and gather details
Use WordPress 6.5 or later, PHP 8.1 or later, and an active WooCommerce installation. Have your Saudi VAT number, commercial registration details, National Address and Fatoora portal login ready. The sandbox uses test data and does not need a Fatoora account. For Production, use your store's real VAT number.
Install the free plugin
Install and activate Raseedo Saudi E-Invoicing for WooCommerce. Check that WooCommerce is active before continuing. Raseedo connects only to ZATCA's Fatoora API, and sends nothing until you onboard and enable Issue e-invoices.
Version 1.0.0. In WordPress, open Plugins > Add New Plugin > Upload Plugin and choose this file.
Enter your seller details
Open WooCommerce > ZATCA E-Invoicing > Seller details. Enter your store's seller information, including VAT number, commercial registration and National Address. Use test data when working in the sandbox. Enter your real VAT number here before onboarding in Simulation or Production. Review the details before onboarding.
Test onboarding in the sandbox
Select the sandbox environment. It uses test data and does not need a Fatoora account. The test OTP is already filled in. Click Onboard this store. Raseedo creates your key and certificate request and runs ZATCA's six compliance checks. Turn on Issue e-invoices, then place a test order to check the signed XML, QR invoice page and ZATCA response.
Move to Simulation and Production
After the sandbox, select Simulation, then Production. For each environment, sign in at fatoora.zatca.gov.sa and obtain a new one-time password. Each OTP is valid for one hour. Paste it into Raseedo and click Onboard this store. In both environments, the plugin creates the key and certificate request, passes the six compliance checks and obtains the certificate for that environment. In Production, turn on Issue e-invoices to report paid-order invoices to ZATCA.
Monitor invoices and certificates
Check WordPress Site Health for warnings about incomplete onboarding, documents waiting too long and certificates 30 days before expiry. To renew a certificate, onboard again with a new OTP. Rejected documents appear in WooCommerce > ZATCA E-Invoicing > E-invoices with ZATCA's reasons, and the order gets a note. Raseedo retries network failures and ZATCA outages for hours. If your site's security keys change, onboard again because certificates are encrypted with those keys. Signed XML files and ZATCA responses remain on your site.
