About the developer behind the plugin
I am Hamza Ahmad Aslam, an independent WordPress developer based in Pakistan. I built Raseedo for Saudi WooCommerce stores that need to connect their invoicing to ZATCA's Fatoora platform.
Why I built Raseedo
ZATCA's Phase 2 requirements create practical work for store owners. Invoices must be created as UBL 2.1 XML, signed, given a QR code and sent to ZATCA through its API. The rules for sending them depend on the type of invoice.
Wave 25 adds a specific deadline. Businesses whose VAT-subject revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in any of 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025 must integrate by 1 February 2027. For a WooCommerce store without a working Phase 2 option, that date leaves a defined task to finish.
I wanted to make that task manageable inside WordPress, where the orders already live.
How the plugin works
Raseedo connects WooCommerce to Fatoora. You enter your seller details and a one-time password from the Fatoora portal. The plugin creates the cryptographic key and certificate request, completes ZATCA's six compliance checks and obtains the production certificate.
The free plugin creates signed simplified invoices for paid orders, adds the required QR information and reports those invoices to ZATCA in the background. A refund creates a credit note that refers to the original invoice. If ZATCA rejects a document, the E-invoices screen shows the reason and the order receives a note.
For stores that sell to businesses, Pro adds standard invoices that must be cleared by ZATCA before the buyer receives them. It also adds missing-invoice reports, bulk retries and exports.
Open code and testing
I build against ZATCA's published specifications and test the integration against its sandbox. The free plugin is released under GPLv2 or later, so its code is open for inspection and modification under that licence.
Signed XML files and ZATCA responses stay on your WordPress site. You can inspect invoice status in WooCommerce rather than relying on a separate Raseedo account.
What Raseedo does not claim
Raseedo is an independent plugin. I am not affiliated with ZATCA, and ZATCA has not endorsed or approved it. ZATCA does not certify taxpayer e-invoicing software.
The plugin is also not tax advice. You remain responsible for checking which invoicing rules and deadlines apply to your business. For product questions, write to info@raseedo.com.
